The Pimento Map co-founders
is an experienced entrepreneur who has launched various start-ups in the Internet and communications sector. He has also sold some of these start-ups to major international communication groups, such as Omnicom and WPP. Since 2012, he has been a professional Business Angel and has invested in a dozen Internet-based companies in Brussels, Paris and Madagascar. He also founded the NGO’s NewcoPark and Adanso, which are active in promoting entrepreneurship in Africa. Furthermore, he is also a visiting professor at the University Libre in Brussels and the ISCAM, where he lectures on the entrepreneurship and financing of SME’s.
Béatrice de Mahieu
is a Belgian entrepreneur and strategy consultant. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to participate in the development and growth strategy of major telecommunication and media companies. After several years at Microsoft, she decided to focus her career on coaching and mentoring start-ups in their investment, growth and strategy, and also joined one of the major investment partners and funds in Belgium as an investment expert and member of the board .
is a Technical Angel. His considerable experience as a technology business manager has prepared him to audit, advise and accompany technical staff from the companies he has invested in. During his previous work experience, he coached some major media groups in the evolution of their business model. Nowadays, the opportunities offered by Information and Data Technology – “Big Data” – are at the heart of his investment strategies.
